Health Minister Ana Paula Martins expressed regret this Friday, March 20, regarding the strike called by the Portuguese Nurses' Union (SEP), emphasizing that the Government is working to address several of the profession's demands. While acknowledging the right to strike, the Minister highlighted that negotiations on collective bargaining agreements and long-standing issues are already in progress. The SEP strike aims to protest delays in career progression, the counting of service points, and the need for more staff, while also demanding better working conditions, risk compensation, and the withdrawal of proposed labour law changes.
