The Minister of National Defence, Nuno Melo, revealed that the Government is taking “giant strides” to establish a factory for the Brazilian aeronautical manufacturer Embraer in Beja to produce Super Tucano military aircraft. Speaking to journalists in Beja, the minister alluded to the “increasingly plausible possibility” of installing a factory in this municipality.
