Former President of the Republic, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, launched a new official website this Monday and will begin a “Cycle of Debate-Classes” with primary and secondary school students on Tuesday, April 14, in Águeda, Aveiro district. According to a note sent to the Lusa agency by the former head of state's office, the new website (www.gabinetemrs.pt) will report on the activities carried out by the former President. The note states that this week, specifically on Tuesday, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa will begin one aspect of his intervention in the field of education, inaugurating the “Cycle of Debate-Classes” under the theme “Education, vocation, future”. The former President has previously stated his intention to visit schools across the country, focusing on reading and book commentary, while maintaining his promise to avoid political commentary.
