After returning to the stage to celebrate 20 years since their debut album, Scissor Sisters are living a second life. Ahead of their concert at the Ageas CoolJazz festival in Cascais this July, the trio spoke to BLITZ about their friendship with Dave Grohl, the concert “with mud on our faces” in Paredes de Coura, the regression of LGBTQIA+ rights, and a memorable photograph: “Me flirting with Ian McKellen… and Elton John looking at us with a look of disgust.”
