The performance by Veigh, one of the most prominent names in the new wave of Brazilian urban music, is scheduled for 14 August. The following day, it will be the turn of Vizinhos, an Évora phenomenon that has stood out for its irreverent approach, with hits such as Pôr do Sol. Quim Barreiros will take the stage on 16 August. Tickets for the 2026 edition are already available at blueticket.pt and at usual locations. The first sales phase starts with the 1st batch, which includes daily tickets (€28), 2-day passes (€48) and 4-day passes (€82). Context & Explainers
Fado is a traditional Portuguese music genre characterized by melancholic singing and themes of longing and fate, with distinct Lisbon and Coimbra styles; it was inscribed on UNESCO's Intangible Cultural Heritage list in 2011. For expats, fado is both a living cultural tradition and a common tourist experience — attending a small fado house in Lisbon or Coimbra offers insight into Portuguese history, language and social life.
