Five EU governments are undermining the rule of law in Europe. And five more are at worrying levels

A study by 'Liberties' concludes that the governments of five European Union member states - Bulgaria, Croatia, Hungary, Italy, and Slovakia - are 'consistently and deliberately' weakening the rule of law. And there are five more where the deterioration is starting to become visible.
