Environmental group Zero criticises Government for rewarding "poor irrigation management" in Alqueva

The environmental association Zero today accused the Government of ending Alqueva's resilience as a strategic water reserve by rewarding “poor irrigation management”, which will make an extra 100 million cubic metres a year available to irrigation.
