A new appointment system for visa applications to Portugal is now available in Brazil via the VFS Global website. However, there are currently no slots available at any of the ten service centres. DN Brasil conducted a simulation across all locations and found no availability, with the system displaying a message stating that no times are currently open. This change coincides with the end of postal applications, which will no longer be accepted after April 16th. The transition to mandatory in-person appointments at specific cities raises concerns about accessibility for those living far from these centres, and the Portuguese Ministry of Foreign Affairs has yet to clarify how many slots will be made available.
