Support for buying electric cars was exhausted within hours after applications opened
The public support scheme for purchasing electric cars for private individuals was exhausted this Monday after only a few hours, on the day the Environmental Fund opened the application window, a source at the Ministry of the Environment confirmed to Lusa.
Applications for state support to purchase electric vehicles are now open
The application period runs until 12 February 2026, or until the available allocation of €17.6 million is exhausted. Applications must be submitted on the Fundo Ambiental website.
