Health Minister denies blaming immigrants for sector pressures

Minister of Health Ana Paula Martins has clarified that she does not blame immigrants for the current shortage of family doctors in Portugal. While acknowledging that rapid demographic changes have placed pressure on the health sector, she stated that her previous comments were intended to highlight the need for a different approach to managing entry into the country.
