The president of the Portuguese Episcopal Conference (CEP) estimated this Tuesday that internal investigations into abuse, victim support, and compensation will result in a total expenditure of three million euros for the Church in Portugal. The entire process of victim compensation and legal costs 'will reach close to three million', explained José Ornelas.
