Yerai Cortés, the young guitarist who gained prominence alongside C. Tangana, is bringing his show 'Guitarra Coral' to five Portuguese cities. Cortés explains that his approach to flamenco prioritises personal authenticity over formal rules, noting that for him, purity means being faithful to his feelings. He draws parallels between the communal, emotional nature of flamenco and the Portuguese fado, highlighting his musical dialogue with guitarist Gaspar Varela. The tour includes performances in Lisbon, Lousã, Braga, and the Azores.
