The latest guest on the Posto Emissor podcast, João Melo, lead singer of the band A Fúria do Açúcar, spoke about the beginnings of his career and the parodies of well-known songs he used to perform in bars around Greater Lisbon, often met with misunderstanding and indifference: “Often, I would finish playing a pastiche of some song and people would come up to me at the end to tell me that the lyrics weren't anything like that.”
