Applications open on 1 April for the second edition of the Integrar para o Turismo programme, which aims to train 1,000 immigrants living in Portugal for the tourism sector. Following a successful first year with over 655 graduates, the new edition extends the internship period from one to three months to better assess professional performance. The programme, supported by Turismo de Portugal and the IEFP, includes enhanced training in employability and financial literacy, with a goal to increase internship placements and job integration by 50%.
