Banco Montepio will propose a 36 million euro dividend for the 2025 financial year at its general meeting on 29 April. The bank reported a consolidated net profit of 103.8 million euros and an individual net profit of 120.2 million euros. The meeting will also address the election of the bank's governing bodies for the 2026-2029 term, with the Mutual Association confirming that Pedro Leitão will not be renewed as CEO. Reports suggest José Azevedo Pereira is the preferred candidate for the role.
