The bureaucracy involved in applications for European funds led to the creation of Granter in 2023, with the aim of making access to those funds easier and cheaper. Bernardo Seixas is one of the founders and the chief executive of Granter, the company that won the 2025 Web Summit edition, and he explained on Expresso’s podcast “Liga dos Investidores” how Granter’s “digital employees” are getting around the bureaucracy.
