In a statement released by the Casa do Artista, signed by director João Lourenço, it was highlighted that Casimiro was “one of the most influential scenographers, costume designers, and visual artists in Portugal, with a career spanning over six decades that profoundly impacted cinema, theatre, and television in the country.” In 2024, the Casa do Artista will dedicate the exhibition “Percursos Dispersos” to him, recreating the atmosphere of his studio and celebrating the diversity and depth of his creative work, a public recognition of his artistic and human dimension.
