Diário de Notícias is set to strengthen its presence across the country by launching a series of conferences to debate the major challenges facing Portugal's different regions. Supported by the Vila Galé Group, which will host the events at its hotels on the mainland and islands, the series begins on May 12th in Ponta Delgada and May 13th in Beja. The inaugural event in Ponta Delgada, co-organised with the Açoriano Oriental, will feature the President of the Regional Government of the Azores, José Manuel Bolieiro, and cover topics such as the Recovery and Resilience Plan, the Azores 2030 fund programme, and the region's geopolitical role. The Beja event will focus on heritage and tourism as economic drivers, with speakers including Beja Mayor Nuno Palma Ferro and Vila Galé chairman Jorge Rebelo de Almeida.
