Champion spirit. The Lobos end Georgia's long reign, which is the main highlight of this week's DN Sport. In the photo, Nicolas Martins breaks through the Georgian defensive wall. The image, one of the most striking of the sporting week, perfectly captures the feat Portugal achieved on Sunday. The Lobos (nickname for the national rugby team) won the Rugby Europe Championship, the main continental competition outside the Six Nations Tournament, by beating Georgia (19-17) in the final, who had won seven consecutive titles in the event. This was the second time Portugal won the trophy (in 2004, they defeated Romania in the decisive match). Another headline goes to: Paulinho changed continents to gain the status of a beloved figure and did not need to wear a mask to be the new 'King' of Mexico. Also highlighted is the national team: 2026 World Cup. Martínez has 21 names guaranteed and one vacant spot for a third striker. Download the complete electronic edition at the link below.
